Two bomb attacks in northwest Pakistan have left at least three people dead, including two killed in a motorcycle explosion outside a police station in Bannu district and a girl killed in a vehicle blast in Bajaur district. The explosions were reportedly linked to the Pakistan Taliban group, with troops killing eight TTP members in a gun battle. The surge in attacks against security forces in Pakistan since 2021 has been attributed to the TTP, whose leaders are believed to be based in Afghanistan.
