Just over half of citizens in nine European countries believe there is a high risk of conflict with Russia, according to a survey by French pollster Cluster17. The highest concern was noted in Poland, where 77% see a significant threat, while Italy reported the least anxiety at 34%. The poll reflects heightened security concerns following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, prompting countries like France to reintroduce military service in response to perceived aggression. Additionally, nearly half of Europeans view U.S. President Donald Trump as an “enemy of Europe.”
