Most Canadians feel Prime Minister Mark Carney’s government has not fulfilled its campaign promises, despite a slight increase in his satisfaction ratings, according to a Postmedia-Leger poll. 72% of respondents expressed disappointment with the government’s handling of the cost-of-living crisis, while 64% criticized its spending management. The Liberal party maintains a lead with 43% support, although dissatisfaction remains high regarding housing affordability and military strength. With only 10% pleased with progress on campaign promises, the Liberals face significant challenges ahead.
