The lack of housing supply has caused 60% of participants to postpone having children and 48% to delay marriage, leading to a decrease in couples attending marriage preparation courses and a decline in the number of marriages and births in the country. These findings highlight the serious social implications of the housing crisis on young people’s aspirations for family life.
