Moroccan police pushed back hundreds of people heading towards the Spanish exclave of Ceuta on Sunday, following social media posts encouraging crossing attempts. Ceuta and Melilla are popular destinations for irregular migrants due to their location on the North African kingdom’s Mediterranean coast. The group of individuals attempting to cross into Ceuta included Moroccans and migrants from other countries.
