Over one million displaced by Israel’s evacuations in Lebanon

The Israeli military has escalated its evacuation orders for residents south of the Zahrani River, warning that those who do not relocate may endanger their lives amid military operations. This directive now encompasses over 1,470 square kilometers and affects more than 100 towns and villages in southern Lebanon. As a result, over one million people have been displaced, and more than 250,000 have fled the country, with infrastructure such as bridges being destroyed to hinder escape efforts.
