Since the announcement of a ceasefire agreement, at least 103 Palestinians have been killed and over 264 wounded by Israeli attacks in Gaza, with casualties including 31 women and 27 children according to Gaza’s civil defence service spokesperson Mahmoud Basal. The fatalities occurred in various regions of Gaza, with the northern governorates being the most heavily affected. The conflict, which began in October 2023, has resulted in over 46,788 Palestinian deaths and 110,453 injuries, with more than 1,100 Israeli casualties and widespread destruction, leaving over 11,000 people missing and causing a severe humanitarian crisis.
