More than one in three Australian households are considering upgrading to electricity-only options to save money and reduce environmental impact, according to the second PropTrack Origin Australian Home Energy Report. The study, which surveyed over 4,800 Australians, revealed that 56% plan to enhance their home’s energy efficiency within five years, but confusion about energy efficiency ratings persists, with many unaware of the Nationwide House Energy Rating Scheme. While efficient lighting and solar panels are popular upgrades, greater consumer education is needed to bridge knowledge gaps and encourage more widespread adoption of energy-efficient practices.

Russia accuses Ukraine of postponing prisoner exchange
