Gabriel Diallo, from Montreal, reached his first ATP Tour semifinal by defeating Alejandro Tabilo at the Almaty Open in Kazakhstan. The 23-year-old, ranked 118th, won in three sets with six aces and just one break of serve. Diallo will face Francisco Cerundolo of Argentina in the next round at the ATP 250 event.
