In the Almaty Open men’s final, Montreal’s Gabriel Diallo was defeated by Russian-Armenian player Karen Khachanov in three sets, with Khachanov winning his seventh ATP Tour title 6-2, 5-7, 6-3. This marked Khachanov’s second victory over Diallo, having previously beaten him at the National Bank Open. Despite Diallo’s seven aces and solid performance, Khachanov’s strong play, including converting 6 of 19 break points, secured him the win.
