Montreal to host second short-track World Tour stop after ISU cancels Utah event

The International Skating Union relocated the Short Track World Tour event from Salt Lake City to Montreal, where the second stop will take place from Nov. 1-3 due to compliance issues with safety padding at the Utah Olympic Oval. Speed Skating Canada will host the event in Montreal, stepping in on short notice to ensure the tour continues smoothly. Montreal has a history of hosting short-track events, including the world championships, and organizers are confident in their ability to successfully host the competition.
