Montreal says it had no choice but to close wooded area in N.D.G.

The city of Montreal is committed to creating a nature park in Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, despite the closure of a major section due to a landslide, according to Alex Norris, an associate councillor on the executive committee. The cliff area of Falaise St-Jacques was closed following the landslide in August, in line with safety guidelines, even though some forest users may not perceive the danger.
