Montenegro approves the extradition of cryptocurrency mogul Do Kwon to the United States

Montenegro has approved the extradition of Do Kwon, the founder of Singapore crypto firm Terraform Labs, to the U.S. following a legal battle between South Korea and the U.S. over his extradition. Kwon was arrested in Montenegro last year and faces charges of fraud in connection with a $40 billion crash of Terraform Labs’ cryptocurrency. The Justice Ministry cited the latest ruling of Montenegro’s Supreme Court in favor of Kwon’s extradition to the U.S., despite objections from his lawyers.
