Five women who worked for Mohamed Al Fayed between 1995 and 2012 are planning to launch a legal claim against his estate for personal injury, alleging they were subjected to sexual abuse, harassment, and mistreatment. Law firm Leigh Day has sent a pre-action letter to the estate’s lawyers on behalf of the claimants, stating that the women endured abuse while working for Al Fayed outside of Harrods and should hold his estate accountable for their suffering, which included verbal abuse and threats when they tried to report the abuse.
