A missing woman, Yajaira Castro Mendez, 46, was found dead in Hampshire, allegedly murdered by her ex-lover Juan Francisco Toledo, 51, who worked with her in a central London office. The prosecution claims Toledo killed Ms. Mendez at work on May 29 and disposed of her body in a wheelie bin before driving to Hampshire to dump it. Toledo, arrested on June 4 and charged with murder, appeared at the Old Bailey for a preliminary hearing, with a plea hearing set for September 1 and a provisional trial scheduled for April 20, 2026.
