Microsoft Photos app gets AI super resolution upscaling in Windows Insider build

Super Resolution upscaling is now available on Windows 11 24H2 Insider Channels for Copilot+ PCs with Qualcomm Snapdragon processors, allowing users to increase image resolution by up to eight times. While Snapdragon-based PCs are limited, Microsoft plans to expand the feature to Intel and AMD CPUs in the future. The update also includes OCR support in the Photos app for text recognition in over 160 languages, along with smaller changes like single-click image opening and bug fixes for Image Creator and Restyle Image features.
