The Miami Marlins have hired Clayton McCullough, former Los Angeles Dodgers first-base coach, as their new manager. McCullough, 44, previously managed in the Toronto Blue Jays’ minor league system and played a key role in helping Shohei Ohtani achieve a historic 50/50 season in 2024. He is the first managerial hire by Marlins president of baseball operations Peter Bendix, tasked with leading a team in transition following a playoff appearance in 2023 and a 100-loss season in 2024.
