Mexico says it will not allow US to send Mexican migrants to Guantanamo Bay

The U.S. has started flying migrant criminals to Guantánamo Bay, as confirmed by White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt. Mexico is against this and prefers to directly receive the migrants. President Trump aims to expand the detention camp to hold up to 30,000 “criminal illegal aliens.” Detainees will be separated from past detainees, including planners of the 2001 terrorist attack. Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel criticized this move as an “act of brutality.”
