Metro is collaborating with Mayor of London Sadiq Khan and music industry leaders to highlight London’s grassroots music scene, crucial to the city’s cultural identity. An innovative Tube map featuring artists and venues, including legends like Pink Floyd and contemporary stars such as Loyle Carner, will be released to emphasize the importance of these spaces, as many face challenges post-pandemic. With only 179 grassroots venues remaining in London, the campaign aims to protect and encourage the growth of these vital cultural sites.
