Meta approves plan for bigger executives bonuses following 5% layoffs

Meta executives are set to receive larger bonuses this year, with the target bonus percentage for the annual bonus plan increased to 200% of their base salary. The change, approved by a committee for Meta’s board of directors, aims to bring executive compensation in line with industry peers. This comes after Meta recently laid off 5% of its workforce and reduced annual stock options for employees.
