Meross Unveils New Battery-Powered Presence Sensor
Meross has introduced the MS605 presence sensor, now battery-operated for flexible installation. Powered by a single CR123A battery, it lasts up to three years, though battery life may decrease in high-traffic areas. The sensor supports Matter over the Thread protocol for compatibility with smart home systems and features an IP67 waterproof rating for outdoor use. However, its detection range is reduced to 6 meters for motion and 4 meters for presence compared to its predecessor.
