Three men, including Farhad Shakeri, have been charged in an Iranian plot to assassinate people in the US, including Donald Trump during his reelection campaign. Shakeri, believed to be in Iran, was assigned to surveil and kill Trump but failed to come up with a solid plan. The plot also targeted an Iranian dissident, Jewish Americans, and Israeli tourists, with Shakeri claiming he was offered $500,000 for each assassination.
