The film will focus on Jesus Christ’s resurrection and will feature Jim Caviezel reprising his role as Jesus, with Gibson considering CGI de-aging techniques. Describing the project as ambitious, Gibson aims to explore themes from the fall of the angels to the death of the last apostle, acknowledging the challenges ahead but expressing determination to take on the task.
