The Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) in Singapore will conduct a further review of the fatal abuse case of four-year-old Megan Khung. The review will include responses from all involved parties, such as the preschool, social service agency, and police. Megan was abused by her mother and her then-boyfriend before her death in February 2020. MSF previously stated that interventions were inadequate before Megan’s death due to a lack of information on the severity of her injuries. MSF’s aim is to strengthen measures to protect children in the future.
