Australian wicketkeeper-batter Matthew Wade has retired from international cricket at 36 and will join the Australia men’s team as a coach for their T20 series against Pakistan. Wade plans to continue playing for Hobart Hurricanes in the Big Bash and various T20 franchise tournaments after his 225 international appearances for Australia across all formats, ending with the T20 World Cup. As a player, he scored 1,202 runs in 92 T20 matches and 1,867 runs in 36 Tests, finishing with 240 catches and 26 stumpings as a wicketkeeper for Australia.

Norris laments “too many mistakes” fighting for F1 Spanish GP pole
Lando Norris acknowledged that “too many mistakes” affected his final qualifying lap at the Spanish Grand Prix, leading to his loss of pole position to McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri. Norris held provisional pole after the first Q3 runs, leading Piastri by a mere 0.017 seconds.
