BOSTON (Reuters) –

A Massachusetts man, John Reardon, was sentenced to 26 months in prison for making violent and antisemitic threats against Jewish institutions and the Israeli consulate following the Israel-Hamas conflict that began on October 7, 2023. Reardon, 60, pleaded guilty to multiple charges after leaving threatening voicemails, including references to genocide and bomb threats, amidst a rise in antisemitic incidents nationwide.
