Martin Lewis is delivering a crucial message to parents in the UK who earn less than £80,000 per year.

The Money Saving Expert founder is advising parents with a salary of £80,000 or lower to apply for child benefit, in light of recent government changes to the program.

During an appearance on This Morning on Tuesday (30 April), he emphasized, “This is really important.

“If you are not receiving child benefit and the highest earner in your household earns less than £80,000 a year, it is time to start claiming child benefit now.”
