Marjorie Taylor Greene Pushes ‘Gulf of America’ Bill

Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Georgia Republican, has introduced a bill to rename the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America, in line with President Trump’s executive order. While Greene supports the change, Mexico and the United Kingdom have stated they will continue to refer to it as the Gulf of Mexico. Federal agencies have one month to update documents and maps with the new name, with Florida already adopting the change in an emergency declaration.
