Manitoba First Nations leaders to remember AMC Grand Chief Cathy Merrick

First Nations leaders in Winnipeg are gathering to honor the late Grand Chief Cathy Merrick of the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs, who tragically passed away at the age of 62 after collapsing while speaking to reporters outside of the city’s law courts. Manitoba Keewatinowi Okimakanak, representing northern Manitoba First Nations, will host a news conference on Saturday at 11 a.m. CT for leaders to pay their respects.
