NASA’s Artemis II Mission Preparation
NASA is set to roll out its Space Launch System rocket, carrying four astronauts for the Artemis II mission, early Saturday morning from the Vehicle Assembly Building at Kennedy Space Center. This historic mission will mark the first human trip around the Moon since 1972, although the crew will not land. The rocket, transported by a massive crawler, will take approximately eight to ten hours to reach Launch Complex 39B. Artemis II aims to set the record for the farthest humans have traveled from Earth.
