Man gets jail after forging recall order for reservist training to cheat company

SINGAPORE: Mohd Faizal Abdullah, 30, was sentenced to two months in jail for forging a recall order to falsely claim he was attending reservist training, impacting his employment with Goldtech and NEC Asia Pacific. Between March 2021 and March 2022, Faizal manipulated documents to postpone his job start date, ultimately resigning from NEC before being caught. His forgery was discovered when the Ministry of Home Affairs confirmed the recall order was fake after submission, leading to his arrest on April 16, 2022.
