Man facing drug charges busted at LaSalle mall for violating bail

A 25-year-old man facing drug trafficking and weapon charges was arrested at a LaSalle shopping mall for failing to comply with his release order, which included house arrest and electronic monitoring. The individual had been released on bail in December on multiple criminal charges, including possession of a controlled substance for trafficking, possession of stolen property, possession of a weapon while prohibited, and failure to comply with a release order. Bail compliance officers from Windsor and LaSalle police services supervise high-risk individuals like him who are placed under house arrest, curfew, or electronic monitoring to ensure compliance with their release conditions.
