A 28-year-old man surrendered to police and was charged in a collision that resulted in the death of a female cyclist in Etobicoke last month. The incident occurred on Burnhamthorpe Road when the man driving a 2019 Volkswagen Jetta collided with the cyclist approaching Kipling Avenue. Despite being rushed to the hospital, the cyclist succumbed to her injuries on Aug. 31.
