Man ‘carrying a gun’ at Elm Park Underground station arrested during rush hour

A 61-year-old man was arrested at Elm Park Underground station in east London this morning for allegedly carrying a firearm. British Transport Police responded to reports around 7am, leading to the station’s closure while armed officers detained the suspect, who is now in custody on suspicion of possession of a firearm.
