Police Arrest Protester Over T-Shirt Misunderstanding
Miles Pickering, 59, was mistakenly arrested at a protest in Parliament Square for wearing a “Plasticine Action” T-shirt, which officers misread as “Palestine Action,” a banned group under terrorism laws. After the error was realized and police found the T-shirt’s actual meaning, he was released without charge, leading to increased interest in his T-shirts nationwide.
