Toronto’s Walk with Israel event attracted approximately 56,000 participants this year, surpassing last year’s attendance by 6,000. During the event, Tarek Ibrahem, 57, was arrested for allegedly shouting anti-Semitic slurs and has been charged with mischief and causing a disturbance, with the case being investigated by the Hate Crime Unit. Ibrahem is scheduled to appear in court on July 9, while police emphasize their commitment to investigating and addressing hate incidents at demonstrations.
