Sex offender vandalizes Oklahoma Capitol with anti-ICE messages

A registered sex offender, Shelby Lang Smith, has been arrested for vandalizing Oklahoma’s state Capitol and other government buildings with anti-ICE graffiti, including messages such as “KILL ICE.” Smith faces multiple charges, including ten counts of malicious injury to property and three counts of threatening violent acts. He was previously convicted in 2022 for soliciting sexual conduct with a minor and was sentenced to five years in prison for violating probation. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol emphasized their commitment to investigating threats against public safety.
