A man in his 20s died from serious head injuries sustained in a workplace accident at the Spanish City Summer Funfair in Whitley Bay, prompting emergency services to respond shortly after 2:15 PM. The fairground has since been closed to the public as Northumbria Police express condolences to the man’s family during this tragic time.
