Major internet outage for thousands after Sydney storm

One of Australia’s largest internet providers, TPG Telecom, faced a major outage due to a power failure at a datacentre caused by a massive storm in Sydney, leaving thousands of homes and businesses offline. The outage affected broadband services for TPG, Vodafone, iiNet, Internode, and Kogan fixed internet customers. TPG Telecom’s technical teams are working to restore services quickly, apologizing for the inconvenience caused to customers.
