Former Para alpine skier Mac Marcoux has been appointed honorary captain of Canada’s Paralympic team for the Milan-Cortina Games, announced by the Canadian Paralympic Committee (CPC). He will work alongside five co-captains: wheelchair curler Ina Forrest, hockey player Tyler McGregor, nordic skier Brittany Hudak, snowboarder Tyler Turner, and alpine skier Alexis Guimond. This new initiative emphasizes athlete leadership and aims to foster team unity while sharing their stories. Marcoux, a six-time Paralympic medallist, expressed excitement about continuing to support his teammates and promoting their journeys.
