Former Marks and Spencer boss Lord Stone of Blackheath has been suspended from the House of Lords for six months for verbally abusing parliamentary staff, displaying a pattern of rude and aggressive behavior. Despite undergoing behavior change coaching, he continued to be disrespectful, calling security guards “stupid” and “thick and stupid” after being asked to move his suitcase from the Underground station entrance. The lengthy suspension was deemed necessary as Lord Stone was seen as a continuing risk to those on the parliamentary estate.

Kyle Clifford has been jailed for life after murdering his ex-partner Louise, her sister Hannah, and their mother Carol.
