Longueuil obtains permit to conduct deer cull this fall

The city of Longueuil will finally proceed with a cull of white-tailed deer in Michel-Chartrand Park, following years of delays due to backlash and legal challenges from animal rights groups. The cull, utilizing air rifles, will be conducted by a professional company this fall and is authorized until mid-February 2025.
