PGMOL: Tarkowski deserved red against Liverpool

PGMOL has acknowledged that Everton’s James Tarkowski should have received a red card in the Merseyside derby after a VAR review deemed his challenge on Liverpool’s Alexis Mac Allister as serious foul play. Despite initially being booked, Tarkowski’s follow-through warranted a red card according to the referees’ body. Liverpool’s Diogo Jota scored the lone goal to secure a victory and extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table.
