The indictment against Sun includes charges of failure to register as a foreign agent, visa fraud, alien smuggling, and money laundering conspiracy. Additionally, her husband, Christopher Hu, is alleged to have facilitated the transfer of millions of dollars in kickbacks for personal gain.
