LGBTQ people and young women are astrology’s biggest fans, U.S. survey finds

According to a Pew Research Center report, 54% of LGBTQ Americans consult astrology or horoscopes at least yearly, significantly higher than the 28% of U.S. adults overall. The survey revealed that LGBTQ adults are three times more likely to consult tarot cards (33% vs. 9%) and four times more likely to use astrology and tarot for major life decisions (21% vs. 5%). Notably, LGBTQ women are more inclined to engage with these practices than men, and younger women show a greater belief in astrology compared to older demographics.
