Lebanon’s National News Agency reported that Israeli strikes hit south Beirut on Saturday night, with four very violent strikes on the southern suburbs and one in the Chweifat area. Ambulances rushed to the sites, as AFP correspondents heard explosions for over two hours in one of the most intense barrages yet. The strikes also targeted south Beirut’s outskirts, resulting in a significant impact on the area.
