Concertgoers at Jet Set nightclub in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, were tragically crushed to death when the roof collapsed during a concert, leaving 44 dead and over 160 injured. The club expressed deep sorrow and is cooperating with authorities to assist victims and determine the cause. In Serbia, a similar incident at a train station resulted in 14 deaths, sparking protests and an anti-corruption campaign by the government.
