LaSalle welcomes five new police officers

Five new police officers, Christopher Bedard, Brayden Houle, Carter Ducharme, Dallas Atkins, and James Legaspi, were appointed during a ceremony at the LaSalle Police Services Board meeting. Chief Michael Pearce and Deputy Chief Jason Woods welcomed the officers, with Bedard, Houle, Ducharme, and Atkins starting their careers as cadets in 2024 and Legaspi bringing nine years of policing experience. LaSalle Mayor Crystal Meloche was re-elected as chairwoman of the board, with Coun. Anita Riccio-Spagnuolo serving as vice-chairwoman alongside members Daniel Allen, Morris Brause, and Marie Campagna.
