Likely victim of California serial killer “Scorecard Killer” identified in Oregon 45 years after his death

Nearly 45 years after a man’s body was found along Interstate 5 in Oregon, he has been identified as Larry Eugene Parks, with notorious California serial killer Randy Kraft named as the sole person of interest. Kraft, convicted of murdering 16 men and suspected of many more, was linked to the case through evidence being processed by Oregon State Police. Parks, a Vietnam veteran who disappeared in 1979, was identified using forensic investigative genetic genealogy, with his family unaware of his fate until recently.
