UK Tells Putin ‘We Are Coming After You’ After His ‘Clumsy, Ineffective’ Attempts To Stoke Unrest

Russian President Vladimir Putin held a press conference at the BRICS Summit in Kazan, Russia, where he dismissed claims of Russian interference as “utter rubbish”. The UK announced new sanctions against three Russian agencies and three senior figures for allegedly attempting to undermine democracy and support for Ukraine. The UK foreign secretary David Lammy warned Putin that the UK will not tolerate interference and will come after Russia for its attempts to stoke unrest among Brits.
